Consecutive interpreting
Consecutive interpreting involves verbally translating speech during a conversation or presentation, in which the interpreter waits for a sentence to end or for a pause in the speech in order to translate what was said to another language.
This type of interpreting is commonly used in formal situations such as business meetings, conferences, and more. It is recommended when immediate, quick translations are not a necessity.
Moreover, consecutive interpreting gives speakers time to consider their ideas and thoughts more clearly.
